    Advanced Search

    The advanced search will search through the contents of all transcribed records.

    From the dropdown list below, choose the type of information you want to search (e.g. surname, town, regiment), and then enter the value you want to find.

    The search engine will find matches which start with the text you specify. For example Thomas may be listed as Thos, so just enter Tho to find as many variants as possible.

    You can also use the wildcard % to find variants. For Example %derry will find Derry and Londonderry
